We are grass-roots organisations. We share tested solutions and ideas from the field of youth volunteering combining youth workers and volunteers perspectives. We want to increase the impact and the visibility of the European Solidarity Corps in our communities, while providing young people with a strong educational value along their volunteering projects.
C.L.I.C., for “Coordinating Locally in order to Increase More Changes with the European solidarity Corps”, is a cooperation partnership that gathers 10 like-minded organisations from 9 European countries. All of us are labelled hosting and support organisations of the European Solidarity Corps. We put in common our long experience in youth work and international volunteering in order to foster capacity building and innovation in our daily work.
Together, we want to contribute to the shaping of eco-systems, where the young people, the organisations and the local communities interact for sustainable societies, with the value of solidarity subscribed in their heart.
We want to contribute to the European construction and, beyond, to a world of peace.
We want to enhance opportunities for young people to participate to these goals, by learning in non-formal settings, expressing themselves and taking initiatives.
In this website, we share inspiring recipes to support the young people in all the phases and aspects of a volunteering project. We emphasize the fact that volunteering is a global experience, from which young people can need support and learn at all stages. We provide tools and handbooks that can be useful for any professional active in the field of youth volunteering. We present opinions and suggestions about how to reinforce a public programme, such as the European Solidarity Corps, for the common good of our society.
