Meet Anna !
Volunteer in AMO Mic-Ados
While being a volunteer of the European Solidarity Corps in Marche-en-Famenne, Anna put in place her own initiative of solidarity. She organized a workshop to rethink stereorypes.

With the “Sac-Ados” group, she organised a day of activities in 3 part : discussion, debate about stereotypes and creative workshop where everyone drew a message against stereotypes. This project created a space for discussion, solidarity and reflection.
“ My personal project focused on breaking down stereotypes and their impact on our daily lives. With the activity « Vrai /Faux » in a group, we exchanged ideas about common clichés and discussed their influence. We reflected on how stereotypes can create conflicts, block relationships, and make it difficult to meet new people, as we judge too quickly. This approach allowed everyone to better understand stereotypes. For my part, I have gained confidence, improved my French and I’m motivated to organize other workshops in the future ».

This initiative was supported along the CLIC project. C.L.I.C. for “Coordinating Locally in order to Increase More Changes with the European solidarity Corps” is a cooperation partnership we participate in with 9 other like-minded organisations from 9 European countries. Together, we want to increase the impact and the visibility of the European Solidarity Corps in our communities, while providing young people with a strong educational value along their volunteering projects.
