Meet Diana !
Volunteer at COCAT, in Barcelona.
While being a volunteer of the European Solidarity Corps in Barcelona, Diana put in place her own initiative of solidarity : ESC Volunteer meeting and experience exchange.
Diana’s plan was to organize a volunteer meeting that took place during the post work camp season event, which COCAT organizes every year for all the volunteers who had recently participated in various volunteering projects, such as work camps, ESC projects, and mid- or long-term initiatives.
The goal was to provide an opportunity for these volunteers to meet, share their experiences, and learn about different types of projects they could get involved in in the future.
Long-term ESC volunteers from both Catalonia and abroad were also invited to attend, and they could share their personal stories and experiences, helping to promote ESC projects and inspiring other volunteers to explore more opportunities in the field of volunteer work.
Throughout the day, various activities were organized, including reflection sessions on the volunteers’ experiences, as well as games and exercises focused on expectations and evaluations of the projects they had participated in.

This initiative was supported along the CLIC project. C.L.I.C. for “Coordinating Locally in order to Increase More Changes with the European solidarity Corps” is a cooperation partnership we participate in with 9 other like-minded organisations from 9 European countries. Together, we want to increase the impact and the visibility of the European Solidarity Corps in our communities, while providing young people with a strong educational value along their volunteering projects.
