At the start of their ESC activity, the volunteers have to get acquainted with a new environment. Between “coordinators/supervisors/mentors…, they are often confused with the “Who is Who” within their project environment.
A careful selection process
In our selection process, we do not look at finding the most efficient/super skilled volunteers. We are rather looking at ensuring that the candidate and the host share a common understanding of the volunteering experience.
