Step by step guide
Community centers or youth centers are coming back in fashion! A place where you can have all sorts of events and enjoy them with other people are coming back. A way to expand the cultural awareness in the community and bring up a certain topic could be a community meal with a certain theme.
If there is something like this in your surroundings, you can try to participate and share your local cuisine as well as music, culture and customs. It is also a way to get to know more people and bond with them.
If such thing does not exist, with the support of your organization and a bit of space and funds you can create one! Different themes can keep it alive for months on end and a lot of people can join!
Important to highlight! It can turn into a personal project of volunteers where they could bring something new to the community! |
Before you start cooking, keep in mind…
It can be expensive. Having a space that can support you in this or donations would help a lot.
