What challenge inspired this recipe?
It is sometimes difficult for volunteers to feel that they are part of a team, and not only the tutor cares about him/her.
So, installing a big panel in the office/office building to write down information for the volunteer(s) is a nice attention for he/she/them to feel included.
Ingredients :
A white board and some pencils.
Step by step guide
Installing on a strategical spot a big white board for team members and tutors to write information.
Like ‘30/09 : we are welcoming *** for 2 months !”.
“*** is offering an activity around ** feel free to get registered/ask information’ etc. etc.
It’s also a place for the volunteers to put information, like some pictures of their visits, a note for the team, a review of their last week.
Important to highlight!Anything that values the volunteer(s) is good. It can be a message on the common shared space or others. |
