What challenge inspired this recipe?
For some volunteers, it can be the first time on their own in a house. They might not all be acquainted to all the house devices (especially when in a foreign country). Also each house has a different equipment. An illustrated leaflet of each equipment or device can be very handy to use them in a correct and ecological way, save energy and prevent accidents. It also supports volunteers’ empowerment and enables them to be autonomous in the house.
Ingredients :
A camera, some time and willingness to create it + some graphic skills to finalize it in a nice and easy-to-read way
Step by step guide
Making a leaflet with photos of the equipment’s/devices explaining how everything works things to be careful at, etc..

Listing all the equipment/devices concerned or relevant: water-use, heating, keys and door lock, bathroom, washing machine, dishwasher, light bulbs and lamps etc..
Making a bilingual step by step user guide (English and local language) with photos, drawings and simple, concrete explanations
