What challenge inspired this recipe?
The tutor in the hosting organization is great (yes) but doesn’t have all the skills to support the volunteer in every aspect for his/her life after the volunteering project. Some volunteers have very specific issues (university, housing, VISA permit etc..) for which it is better to rely on professionals.

Making a network of local partners involved in these specific issues for young people.
Places and people who can follow-up specific support according to the field and can go deeper. Having a well-filled up address book on these topics.
Important to highlight!This idea was given by a volunteer who needed extra-help in a field where her tutor had no skills. So she went to a youth info center and found someone who could really help her on her subject. |
