What challenge inspired this recipe?
Each house has its personality and its proper characteristics. Some requires regular maintenance in order to provide the comfort required nowadays.
Instead of having one staff from the lead organisation coming all the time to do these small maintenance tasks, it is possible also to provide the volunteers with other type of support, such as face-to-face explanation which has to be passed on from volunteers to volunteers as well as tutorials
Ingredients :
A phone, an edition platform (clideo in this case)
Step by step guide
Take one or several volunteers of the house with you while doing these small maintenance tasks and ask them to film it while you do it. You take the time to explain them everything, so they can pass it on to the next generation when (and if) they meet.
Then create short videos explaining the small tasks, dividing it into different short steps to accomplish.

Before you start cooking, keep in mind…
This cannot be done for big maintenance tasks but rather small things. It has to be adapted to each house, and the necessary material to accomplish these tasks have to be provided to the volunteers.
