- Research and collect information on second hand stores, flea markets, regular second hand swapping-things-events, local collectives/initiatives/stores in the local area of the volunteers’ hosting placements
- Add advice from previous volunteers: which were their go-to places, the second hand shops or flea markets they most liked/found most useful, etc.
- Share information with new volunteers
- Motivate volunteers to buy second hand and/or even to become part of the local initiatives themselves; Arguments that can be used: sustainability, cheaper prize, getting to know new people and things, etc.
